Fees are all-inclusive… no extra charge for horses, trips, etc.

Registration for 2026 opens first to 2025 families. We will begin accepting new families as space allows on Sep. 1st. When each session is full, we will begin placing families on a waiting list.

June Camp

3 weeks

In a 3 week session, we can do a variety of activities, make some new acquaintances, and have lots of fun. Our June Camp program is oriented more towards “fun” activities, utilizing skills which are attainable in three weeks. We can practice independence, work on self-reliance, and build such skills and friendships as time permits. The short period is an excellent choice for those wanting a taste of camp fun, with time left over for a family trip or other substantial summer activity. For ages 7 to 13.

Payment Schedule

Deposit: $1000 ($800 by Dec. 1)
Due April 1: $5,500
Total: $6,500 ($6,300 with the Early Registration Discount)

Main Camp

5 weeks

The five week period is for those who want a big bite of skills, pioneer experiences, and stimulating contacts. A camper who has coordination and industry can learn to take his horse over a fence, to guide his canoe down a rapid, to handle himself in a variety of sometimes challenging situations. Wilderness trips as long as six days are possible. Even more importantly, there is a tremendous opportunity for forging durable friendships among peers and adults which can , and often do, last a lifetime. Main Camp is the session of choice for those campers wishing the greatest exposure and opportunity for building friends and skills, and taking wilderness trips. For ages 8 to 17.

August Camp

2 Weeks

August Camp is a great introductory session. We will do all of the activities around camp and get a taste of overnight camping. It is a good way for children not quite ready for a longer session to get a taste of camp life. For ages 7 to 13 (through at least the second grade).

Father-Son Weekends

3 Days

$800 per father–son pair. $250 for each additional son.

Father–Son Weekends offer a great introduction to Mondamin for families not yet ready for our two-, three-, or five-week sessions. Each weekend blends classic camp life with a guided overnight trip, whether hiking in our Back Forty, paddling nearby rivers, or climbing real rock in Pisgah. It’s the perfect way to share an adventure and experience the spirit of camp together. Learn more here.

Friends and Family Weekend

4 day weekend - Held at Green Cove for 2026

$350 per person for the weekend; kids under 6 half price, kids under 2 free.

Friends and Family Weekend is the best way to get your family back to the camp you remember and to introduce your friends to camps you love. Every Labor Day weekend, Friends and Family Weekend is open to just about anyone. You can learn more about Family and Friends Weekend here. Payment is due upon registration.

Travel Insurance: Please consider buying trip/program insurance to cover any unexpected sickness or injury, including Covid-19. Learn more here, see their FAQ’s here and see Covid-specific FAQ’s here. Please note broadest coverages are only available if the plan is purchased within certain time frames. Purchase this insurance on the camper registration form or by calling if you have already registered. Insurance must be purchased before final payment is made for camp.

The camp fee includes almost everything: Laundry, sheets and blankets, all activities (riding, etc.), all trips, ordinary supplies (crafts, ammunition on the rifle range, etc.), airport pickup/return, medical care in the infirmary.
Early Registration Discount! On or before December 1 only: Receive a $200 discount for June Camp, a $300 discount for Main Camp, or a $150 discount for August Camp.
Financial Assistance: If cash flow is a problem, a modified payment schedule may be worked out with the camp. Limited financial assistance is available. Please contact us by February 1 for a scholarship application.
